About the project

Emergency Network is an SOS system for mountain areas, built to keep working when the mobile network goes down after a disaster. ESP32 boards on poles each create an open Wi-Fi network, so anyone can connect and send an SOS from a page that opens automatically, with no internet or app needed. The pole relays each message to a central board over ESP-NOW, and that board passes it to a laptop in the control room. There, fixed rules set the priority and the team to send, and a local Gemma model translates and summarises the optional note, which can be in Hindi, Hinglish or English. A live dashboard shows every pole, each incoming SOS with a map link, and what to send.
