Costume Club helps you find and build a distinctive look for an event or party. Enter the event name, and it researches the themes and suggests four costume ideas with different aesthetics, from futuristic and gothic to fantasy and theatrical. Each look includes three AI-generated images and a breakdown of the individual pieces.

An interactive stylist chat lets you describe changes and update the costume, its pieces, and images while preserving the original version. The app automatically crops individual pieces from the generated images and uses Google Lens through SerpApi to display visually similar products, including store links and prices where available. You can adjust the crops to improve matches.

The app uses a lightweight Python server with a vanilla JavaScript frontend. Nimble powers event research, OpenAI generates costume concepts and refinements, and Gemini generates images and identifies pieces for cropping. SQLite caches searches, images, and product matches so you can revisit previous looks and iterate without regenerating everything.
