mundaAI is a WhatsApp chatbot for smallholder tomato growers, mostly in Zimbabwe. A farmer texts the bot or sends a leaf photo. It asks for the missing
farm details (name, town, crop, and plot size), checks the photo, looks up local weather, and replies with tomato-only advice. Spray advice follows
today’s weather, so it will not tell someone to spray into rain. If it cannot tell, or the photo is not a tomato, it hands the farmer to an agrictech
officer instead of guessing.
