MedGuard AI is a healthcare technology platform designed to modernize pharmacy operations and make medicine discovery easier for customers.
Pharmacies often struggle with manual inventory management, medicine expiry tracking, stock reconciliation and medicine wastage. Customers also spend time visiting multiple pharmacies to find medicines that are available nearby.
MedGuard AI connects pharmacists and customers through two major experiences:

1. Pharmacist Portal

• Pharmacy registration and onboarding.
• Medicine inventory and stock management.
• Expiry monitoring and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory prioritization.
• Strip and individual-tablet quantity management.
• AI-assisted medicine package scanning to extract relevant information for pharmacist review.

2. Customer Medicine Discovery

• Search medicines by brand, generic name, composition or strength.
• Discover pharmacies with available stock.
• View medicine prices and available quantities.
• Find nearby pharmacies using geographical coordinates and distance calculations.
• Get directions to pharmacies.
  Our backend includes an AI-assisted medicine scanning service integrated with Google’s Gemini API. It is designed to analyze medicine package images and extract information such as medicine name, batch number and expiry details. Pharmacists can review and correct extracted information before inventory entry.
