Education is full of opportunities to solve real problems. From class scheduling and homework management to parent–teacher communication, student progress tracking, and beyond — we want to see what you can build.

For this challenge, create an open-source EdTech plugin for erxes that solves a meaningful problem in education. The topic is entirely up to your team. Choose a problem you care about, understand who experiences it, and build a practical solution that makes learning, teaching, or educational management better.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome projects of all kinds, including but not limited to:

• Learning & Teaching: Interactive learning tools, quizzes, personalized learning experiences, and AI-powered educational assistants.
• Education Management: Class schedules, homework assignments, attendance, and learning progress tracking.
• Communication & Collaboration: Parent–teacher messaging, student support, and communication between educational communities.
• Creative EdTech Solutions: Any other innovative idea that addresses a real educational need.

These are examples, not restrictions. You are encouraged to explore your own ideas and tackle problems that matter to you.

How to Stand Out

The strongest projects will demonstrate:

• Real Educational Impact: A clear problem, a well-defined target user, and a meaningful improvement to their experience.
• erxes Integration: A practical implementation or convincing working demonstration of how the plugin works with or extends the erxes platform.
• Working Prototype: A core feature that works and can be demonstrated during judging.
• Usability & Innovation: An intuitive experience and a thoughtful, creative approach to solving the problem.
• Open-Source Contribution: A public GitHub repository with clear documentation and an appropriate open-source license.

How Winners Are Selected

Projects will be evaluated based on their educational value, practical usefulness, erxes compatibility, innovation, implementation quality, and demonstration.

The top 3 EdTech projects will be selected for the Best EdTech Project — erxes Choice Award.
