This project focuses on fine-tuning Google’s Gemma AI model using Kannada text from the AI4Bharat IndicCMix dataset. Using Google Colab, Unsloth, and LoRA, we adapt the pre-trained model to improve Kannada text generation. Finally, we compare the original and fine-tuned models using the chrF metric to evaluate the improvement in text quality.
