Access AI — AI-Powered Web Accessibility Analyzer

Access AI is an open-source project developed during Hacktoberfest 2026 in São José dos Campos, Brazil.

Our goal is to make the web more accessible to everyone by combining browser automation with artificial intelligence.

Users simply enter a website URL, and Access AI uses Playwright to inspect the page, identify potential accessibility issues, and collect structured data. This information is then processed using OpenAI’s API to generate clear explanations, actionable recommendations, and insights based on web accessibility best practices, including WCAG guidelines.

The results are presented through an intuitive dashboard with visual reports and AI-powered insights, helping developers understand accessibility problems and how to fix them.

Our mission: Make web accessibility testing easier, smarter, and more approachable for developers, encouraging the creation of inclusive digital experiences for everyone.
