UI Detective is an AI-powered UI/UX analysis tool that helps developers identify visual problems in website interfaces. Users can upload a screenshot of a website, and the application uses Google’s Gemma AI model to analyze the interface and identify potential issues with visual hierarchy, spacing, readability, and layout.

The tool generates an investigation report containing prioritized findings, severity levels, visual evidence, explanations, and practical suggestions for improvement, including example CSS fixes where appropriate.

The project is built using Python and Flask for the backend, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend, and the Google GenAI SDK to integrate the Gemma model. It is deployed on Render and is designed to make UI reviews faster and more accessible, especially for students, beginner developers, and independent creators.

The goal is to turn a simple website screenshot into actionable design feedback without requiring users to manually inspect every visual detail. UI Detective focuses on screenshot-based analysis and provides suggestions rather than automatically modifying the original website.
