BidMitra is an offline, privacy-first decision support tool for small suppliers on India’s GeM portal. Other tools just list tenders; BidMitra tells you which ones are actually worth your time and exactly why. It uses a deterministic Python engine to score bids against a supplier’s delivery radius, budget limits, and inventory. To make it accessible, a local open-weight AI (Llama 3) translates Hinglish natural language queries (like “Jaipur tak valve dikhao”) into JSON filters on the fly, ensuring sensitive business strategy data never leaves the user’s machine.
