VibeSpace is an open-source, privacy-first peer matching platform designed to connect students and creators with like-minded collaborators for coding projects, creative writing, and hobbies. Built using FastAPI and powered by a local, open-weight AI model (sentence-transformers), VibeSpace analyzes user profile bios and computes semantic similarity scores. This allows peers to discover precise project partners based on shared interests and skills without ever relying on heavy, expensive cloud AI APIs.
