Your Ballot, Your Block.
Your Ballot, Your Block
Miami-Dade is a place of love, community and forward-thinking leadership. People here care deeply about the same things: clean water, safe streets in a storm, wildlife, and a city where the next generation can afford to stay. Yet politics has become a topic many of us are afraid to touch, and the information we need to take part is scattered across Census tables, health dashboards, permit portals and sample ballots.
The cost shows up in the numbers. Miami-Dade has about 2.8 million residents and roughly 1.3 million active registered voters. In the City of Miami’s December 2025 runoff, which included the mayoral race, turnout was about 21% of registered voters. The Civics Center estimated that about 25% of Miami-Dade’s 18-year-olds were registered in May 2022, ranging from 40.5% in Cutler Bay to 19.5% in North Miami Beach.
Your Ballot, Your Block exists to make civic life feel approachable again. It starts with you, not with parties or candidates. You enter your address and share what matters to you, in your own words. The platform then shows who is on your ballot, what each office is responsible for, and what candidates have said about the issues you care about, in their own words with sources. You leave knowing where to vote and why it matters to your block.
Our belief is simple: when people start from what they care about instead of who they’re supposed to side with, they find they have more in common with their neighbors than they were told. We want residents to feel informed instead of intimidated, and curious instead of divided.
Voting is the starting point. Our vision is a civic platform that stays with residents beyond election day, helping them follow commitments, connect with local government and community organizations, and take part in decisions about environmental resilience, animal welfare, and keeping talent in Miami. Next, we plan to bring it into public spaces with playful kiosks, where neighbors can discover what they agree on together.
Your Ballot, Your Block turns public data into action, and helps Miami-Dade residents shape the future of their neighborhoods.
