FourForces Watch is an open-source, MIT-licensed hazard map for cities. It watches four forces (water, air, land and fire) using only public data feeds, and turns them into one simple status per neighborhood: ok, watch or alert. Miami-Dade is the first city. Another city or country can reuse it by writing one config file.

Here’s what each force covers in Miami:

Water: 389 FL511 traffic cameras checked by Grok’s image model for water on the road, plus the NOAA Virginia Key tide gauge, USGS canal levels, FEMA flood zones and NWS flood and storm-surge alerts.
Air: air quality from AirNow and PurpleAir, plus NWS wind and tropical alerts and active hurricanes from the National Hurricane Center.
Land: Miami-Dade evacuation zones, shelters, bus pickups and hospitals, plus FEMA disaster declarations and USGS earthquakes.
Fire: NASA FIRMS satellite fire hotspots, the nearest fire stations, NWS heat and red-flag alerts with cooling centers, and the heat index.
What you get:

A live map on Mapbox with a view for each force and an “All” view.
A Hazard Board for 10 Miami neighborhoods. Each tile shows a status for each force and an overall one, with safety advice written by Grok in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole.
Open data feeds: JSON, GeoJSON for maps and CAP 1.2 for alerts (the international alert standard), so any other tool can reuse the data.
A demo mode: fake events, clearly labelled SIMULATED, show what an alert looks like on a calm, dry day.
It’s built in Python with FastAPI and runs as one Docker container, on Render or locally like on your laptop now. All 63 automated tests pass in GitHub CI. It was built at Hack for Humanity Miami (Track 01, “Four Forces, One City”), using only Grok.

The roadmap: this open base first, then a second city to prove it can be reused, then an optional private layer that links events across forces, sold to municipalities. That private layer stays in a separate repository.
