“Our idea is bus-as-a-sensor. Each bus carries a camera, GPS, and a small edge AI device. On the bus itself, the system detects potholes and cracks, waterlogging, vehicles and traffic density, and road debris. It doesn’t stream raw video. It sends only structured, geo-tagged events with a keyframe as evidence. That keeps bandwidth and storage low, and it works through network drops, because events queue locally and sync when the connection returns.”
