About the project
CivicEye AI is an AI-powered civic infrastructure monitoring platform that connects citizens with government officials to make the reporting and resolution of public infrastructure problems faster, more transparent, and data-driven.
Citizens can report issues such as potholes, damaged roads, broken streetlights, drainage problems, garbage overflow, and water leakage by submitting a description, photo, and location. The platform uses AI to analyze each complaint, identify the problem type, estimate its severity, detect potentially duplicate reports, and recommend its priority.
Nearby citizens can also mark “I’m Affected” to indicate that they are experiencing the same issue. This creates a collective measure of public impact rather than treating every complaint as an isolated report.
Based on the citizen’s location, the system routes the problem to the appropriate government official responsible for that zone, ward, and area. Government officials get an AI-powered priority queue that helps them identify which problems require attention first and understand the factors behind the recommendation.
Officials can verify complaints, assign contractors, set expected completion dates, update work status, and upload completion evidence. Citizens can track the complete progress of their reported problems and verify whether the issue has actually been resolved.
CivicEye AI also maintains the history of complaints and repairs, allowing the system to identify recurring infrastructure problems and provide longer-term infrastructure health insights.
The platform creates a complete closed-loop process:
Report → Analyze → Prioritize → Assign → Resolve → Verify → Monitor
Instead of being just another complaint portal, CivicEye AI turns citizen feedback into actionable infrastructure intelligence for smarter and more accountable urban management.
