About the project
UrbanLens is an AI-powered platform for monitoring public infrastructure. Citizens upload a photo of a civic issue such as a pothole, damaged road, broken streetlight or drain overflow. The AI detects the issue, geotags it, and assigns a severity and priority score. Duplicate reports of the same spot are merged.
Built with
React, Tailwind CSS, Leaflet (maps), Python, YOLOv8 (object detection), Gemini API (assistant and weekly brief), a database such as Firebase or Supabase, role-based authentication, Docker, GitHub.
