NER-LogiAI
About the project
NER-LogiAI is an AI-powered disaster intelligence and emergency response platform designed for the North Eastern Region of India. The system combines field-level incident reporting, disaster-risk analysis, GIS-based monitoring, safety-aware route planning, and human-in-the-loop decision-making to support faster and safer emergency operations. Field officers can capture incidents such as bridge damage, road blockages, and other disruptions along with location and evidence. The system analyzes environmental, terrain, infrastructure, and historical risk factors to identify high-risk corridors. Its safety-aware routing layer evaluates possible routes using route optimization and safety validation, rejecting routes affected by verified blockages or critical incidents and recommending safer alternatives. A centralized command dashboard allows authorities to monitor incidents, vehicles, deliveries, blocked roads, and regional accessibility, while emergency and truck-driver dashboards provide actionable recommendations. The platform follows a Detect → Assess → Verify → Analyze → Validate → Recommend → Human Approval workflow, ensuring that AI assists decision-making while final operational decisions remain with authorized human personnel. The current prototype uses simulated operational data to demonstrate the complete technical workflow.
