ProtoPilot

An AI-powered electronics design assistant that takes ideas from concept to circuit.

Building an electronics project often means navigating component datasheets, understanding circuit connections, designing schematics, and writing firmware. ProtoPilot simplifies this process by allowing users to describe what they want to build in natural language.

Powered by Google’s Gemma 4, ProtoPilot transforms these descriptions into editable electronics projects containing component lists, circuit connections, visual breadboard layouts, schematic diagrams, wiring instructions, and Arduino firmware.

But ProtoPilot goes beyond generating circuit diagrams. It uses a shared, structured project model to keep its breadboard representation, schematic, wiring table, and electrical checks connected. This means design changes can be reflected consistently across the different views. Its validation checks also help identify potential wiring issues and highlight things that need further review before a physical build.

Users can interact with the AI assistant to ask questions, refine their designs, and explore their projects. They can save drafts locally and export circuit diagrams, wiring tables, and firmware.

Our goal is to bridge the gap between an idea and its physical implementation, making electronics prototyping more accessible, understandable, and efficient.
