Hostel Finder is an open-source web app that helps Nigerian students find off-campus housing without surprise fees. Students browse lodges around Federal University Oye-Ekiti (Oye and Ikole campuses), filter by area, budget, distance and power supply, and see every cost up front. A Total Package calculator adds rent, caution deposit, agency and legal fees and service charge into one move-in figure. Each listing shows its facilities as icons, with a full breakdown on tap, and a pre-filled WhatsApp message lets students contact the agent directly to arrange an inspection.

Agents and caretakers get a portal to post lodges with photos from their phone, update rent, and mark rooms as taken.
