Dear Builders,

Thank you for registering and showing interest in our growing community of developers, researchers, innovators and future-builders.

Now, we’d love to encourage you to take the next step: participate in the challenge itself.

Throughout October, we’ve asked a simple but important question:

What are we choosing to build for?

A more secure digital world? More efficient technology? Systems capable of withstanding the environmental and societal challenges ahead?

Whatever your interests or technical background, there’s an opportunity to contribute.

🚀 The challenge is still open!

Explore our three technical directions:

🔐 SECURE — Digital trust, privacy, cybersecurity and trustworthy systems.

🌱 EFFICIENT — Green software, sustainable computing, AI and resource efficiency.

🌍 RESILIENT — Climate, food, water, energy and critical infrastructure.

If you’ve been exploring an idea, building a prototype or investigating a problem worth solving, we encourage you to take this opportunity to share your work.

👉 Join and submit on Kaggle:

Please review the competition requirements carefully and ensure your submission is completed before the deadline.

🌟 What happens after submissions close?

The next chapter begins with reviewing the submitted solutions and identifying promising work for further development.

Up to eight selected teams may be invited to continue through TraceLab, our three-month venture and validation programme, with opportunities for mentorship, technical guidance, ecosystem connections and potential funding pathways.

Our ambition goes beyond recognising a winning solution. We want to help promising ideas find the people, knowledge and support they need to become something meaningful.

The world has no shortage of challenges. What it needs are people willing to work on them.

We hope you’ll be among them.

See you on the other side of the deadline!

Warm regards,
The Data Immigrant Team
