Know where to complain. Get it done. Kothay Jabo is a complaint router for Bangladeshi citizens. Most people don’t know which office handles a broken road, dirty water, an expired product or a bribe demand, so they give up. How it works 1. Describe your problem in Bangla, English or Banglish (e.g. “Pani 4 din dhore asche na”). 2. A rule-based matcher finds the category and shows the matched words, so the result is transparent. You can switch the category yourself. 3. You get the responsible authority, its hotline and web portal, and a checklist of documents to keep ready. 4. An escalation ladder shows what to do if nothing happens (ward office, then headquarters, then the ministry grievance system). 5. Gemma drafts a ready-to-send complaint letter in Bangla or English using only the facts you wrote, with placeholders for anything missing. Copy, download or print it. Categories: roads and drains, WASA, electricity, harassment, police, consumer rights, bribery, free legal aid. Design choices - Rules pick the authority and hotline, and the AI only writes the letter. - The letter never invents facts. - Hotline numbers carry a “verify before use” notice. Limits Authority data covers a starting set of offices and can go stale. Contributions are welcome: each authority is a small, reviewable addition.
