About the project

Snap2Schedule turns a poster, screenshot, email, or document into calendar events. In this demo it runs as Gemma 4 on Google Cloud. Nothing is saved until you confirm it.

The problem

A poster or an email often has several dates, a registration deadline that is not the event itself, and details that are easy to misread, such as 07/11. Typing all of that into a calendar by hand is slow, and a model that guesses will get times and places wrong.

What the app does

Add events. You upload a photo, take a picture, paste text, or drop in a PDF or Word file. Gemma pulls out every event: title, date, time, place, link, organiser, what to bring, and the deadline. Each event gets a short briefing in English or German, whichever you pick. You also get links that were actually in the source, a map link for a real place, and a web search. You can edit anything. Unclear fields are marked. If something overlaps an event you already have, the app shows free alternatives. You then add the ones you want, or download an .ics file.

Calendar. A normal week view. You can edit or delete events, export the week, and ask for a short summary of the week.

Assistant. You ask in plain language, including by voice. Questions are answered from your calendar. If you ask it to move, delete, or create something, it only proposes the change. You confirm it.
