Hack for Humanity: San Francisco

A one-day San Francisco hackathon where builders use Google Gemini and Photon to create practical solutions to local community problems.

About the project

iMessage parking checker for San Francisco: share a pin and it tells you if you can stay, when to move, and can show that curb on a live map.

Photon runs the iMessage bot: it receives the pin, sends the yes/no/caveat reply, schedules the reminder, and opens the map card, all without leaving iMessage.

FalkorDB holds city curbs and sweeping schedules as a graph, and is queried only when that spot is blocked or the user asks for nearby alternatives.

Gemini reads optional parking-sign photos so the reply can include what is on the sign, without treating the photo as the legal verdict and handles all the responses with context from the live map, the user query, and the graph traversal.
