Create Your First Grok Bot

Download or open Grok Bot and create your first persistent AI teammate. Each named Bot can run tasks in its own cloud computer and keep its work available between conversations. This challenge gets your environment ready and introduces the basic Bot settings.

What you’ll do and learn:

• Access the app: Open Grok Bot on a supported desktop or mobile device. If the desktop app is unavailable on your device, continue on mobile.
• Sign in: Use the account or access option provided by the event team.
• Create a Bot: Name your Bot and give it one clear purpose.

Steps:

1. Download or open Grok Bot using the access option provided by the event team. If signup asks for card details you do not want to provide, stop and ask an organizer for another option.
2. Sign in to authenticate your account.
3. At the top of the app, use the search bar and click “+ Create a new Bot.”
4. Click “New Bot.” In Settings, enter a name and a job description. For example: Name: Daily Assistant; Job: Morning summaries and task management. Your Bot is ready when its name appears in the sidebar and you can open its chat.

• A screenshot of your Grok Bot workspace with an active named Bot ready in the sidebar.
