What is the project? It is a web application that helps users identify whether a message is fake, suspicious, or genuine. The user simply pastes a message into the application and clicks Scan. The message is then analysed using the Google Gemini API. How does it work? User → Paste Message → Scan → Gemini AI Analysis → Result User pastes an SMS, WhatsApp message, email, or other text. The application sends the message to the Gemini API. Gemini analyses the message based on its context, wording, claims, urgency, suspicious patterns, links, and other indicators. The application displays the result, such as: Genuine Suspicious Fake It can also provide an explanation so the user understands why the message was flagged. Why is it needed? Fake messages are commonly used for: Phishing Online scams Fake job offers Lottery/prize scams Fake banking/payment messages Misinformation Malicious links Instead of manually trying to judge a suspicious message, users can scan it before taking action.
