Community Track Winner

Community is often both a source of inspiration as well as a motivation for us to continue creating. Whether it be for those who share our background, our culture, our experiences, those in the future we haven’t and may never meet, or even for ourselves—what we create has the potential to empower the people around us.

Topics to Consider: homelessness, education, neighborhoods, political activism, crime, social justice, grassroots movements, equitable opportunity.

The ways in which people connect and collaborate with one another have been forever changed in the past few years. Now that life is slowly but surely returning to what it once was before the pandemic, how can technology be used to rekindle and foster connections that were once seamless?

Topics to Consider: social apps/mental wellness, friendship, dating, mindfulness, music, games, peer-to-peer interaction, special interest groups.
