HerHacks 2026

HerHacks is a 12-hour long hackathon for high school and post-secondary students ready to explore technology, meet inspiring women and gender-diverse students, and build something new!! Whether you’re an experienced coder or completely new to hackathons, HerHacks is your chance to jump in, get creative, and bring an idea to life. Share ideas, solve problems, and turn your vision into a project through coding, design, research, brainstorming, presenting, project management, and more. No previous hackathon or coding experience is required. Just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm! Throughout the day, you’ll build new skills through hands-on workshops, connect with women working in technology, and meet mentors who can help bring your project to life and take it to the next level. You’ll also hear from our panel of women in tech, who will share their experiences navigating the technology industry, what it’s like to be a girl in this space, and advice for growing your skills, confidence, and career. At the end of the event, you’ll showcase what you created, celebrate everything you’ve accomplished, and cheer on the entire HerHacks community.
