Hacktoberfest Hack Day Hyderabad x NST SMRU is an open source community event hosted by Newton School of Technology at SMRU, Hyderabad.

It brings together students, developers and open source enthusiasts for a 24-hour overnight event of learning, networking and building, from 2 PM on Friday, 30th October to 2 PM on Saturday, 31st October. Here’s what to expect:

🌍 Open Source Talks
Hear from maintainers and contributors on how to start and grow in open source.

🚀 Overnight Hackathon
Team up in groups of 3 or 4 for 12 hours of building through the night. Dinner, midnight snacks and breakfast are on us.

🏆 Two Tracks
Best Open-Source AI Project, and Best Use of Gemma 4 (Google DeepMind).

🎤 Project Demos
Show what your team built and get feedback from the judges.

🎖️ Prizes & Recognition
Top teams win prizes and get recognized in front of the community.
