About
Hacktoberfest Hack Day Dahlonega x Univ. North Georgia (Hacklonega)
Join us on Saturday, October 24th for Hacktoberfest Hack Day Dahlonega x Univ. North Georgia (Hacklonega), a one-day hackathon hosted at the University of North Georgia in the Mike Cottrell College of Business Room 109.
Whether you have been coding for a while or this is your very first hackathon, beginners are completely welcome to join. You do not need to show up with a team or a project idea figured out beforehand.
Hacklonega is an opportunity to hack for one day, connect with other students, and build something cool from scratch. It is also a great place to learn how to use AI to build, exploring how modern AI coding tools and APIs can help you turn ideas into working software faster than ever. Doors open at 9AM, pizza provided for lunch, and everyone of all skill levels is welcome to come build with us.

- RAG Chatbots: Create a RAG-powered chatbot that answers questions using relevant data.
- AI Features: Add AI-powered summarization, content generation, or information extraction to an application.
- Data Applications: Build a customized data application without stitching together a collection of separate AI services.
Put Snowflake’s data and AI capabilities to work… what intelligent experience will you build today?
The Snowflake Demo Project shows how a Python project references Snowflake packages and uses the API. Your event organizer will share the current account or trial instructions before the event.
