Hack@URI is proud to host our first-ever Hack Day — a one-day, beginner-friendly hackathon designed to spark creativity, collaboration, and innovation across the University of Rhode Island and beyond. As part of Major League Hacking’s Hack Days, powered by Google Gemini, this event brings together students from diverse disciplines to learn new skills, build impactful projects, and experience the excitement of hacking in a supportive community.
Over the course of eight hours, participants will form teams, brainstorm ideas, and develop projects that showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills. The day begins with an opening ceremony, followed by a full schedule of hacking, mentorship, and workshops. As the afternoon winds down, teams will present their projects to judges, with winners announced at the closing ceremony.
