Hack for Humanity: Finland

Join us for a one-day hackathon in Tampere where AI engineers, founders, researchers, and curious students come together to build something that matters. Hosted by TRES and AI Collective in partnership with Hack for Humanity, this event brings Tampere's growing startup scene together with AI community for a single day of fast, hands-on building, with a purpose. The focus here is exactly what the name says: every problem statement and every project should solve something with the aim of benefiting humanity. Think real problems affecting real people around you, tackled with the AI tools available today. All types of builders are welcome at this event, whether you're a seasoned engineer or brand new to AI-assisted vibe coding. We'll help solo attendees find a team right at the start, and floating mentors will circulate throughout the day to help with everything from technical architecture to UX and design thinking. You'll choose from a mix of challenges: some set by our partner companies, some designed by the organizing team, and a few submitted by participants themselves, so there's a problem worth solving for every interest and skill level. Build with whatever tools work for you; At the end of the day, teams pitch their solutions for a shot at prizes, followed by a Saturday night after-party to celebrate. Sunday is yours to recover.
