**Campulsy Hack Days** **Build. Innovate. Ship.** **Campulsy Hack Days** is a **solo online hackathon** organized by **Campulsy** in collaboration with **Major League Hacking (MLH)** and **Google Gemini**. This is an opportunity for **students, developers, designers, and technology enthusiasts** to turn an idea into a working project within **8 hours**. Whether you're building your first hackathon project or experimenting with an advanced idea, you are welcome to participate. 🚨 **Mandatory Gemini API Requirement** **Google Gemini API usage is mandatory for every submission.** Your project must **meaningfully integrate and use the Gemini API** as part of its functionality. **No Gemini API usage in the submitted project will result in disqualification.** Simply mentioning Gemini in the project description, README, presentation, or using Gemini only to help write your code **does not count**. Participants may use other AI tools such as **ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.** for development assistance, but the actual project must contain a **working Gemini API integration**. **Who Can Participate?** - **University and college students** - **Beginners and first-time hackers** - **Developers and programmers** - **AI/ML enthusiasts** - **Web and app developers** - **Data science enthusiasts** - **UI/UX and product enthusiasts** - **Participants from any branch, specialization, or academic year** **Solo participation only.** Participants from **different colleges, universities, branches, and specializations** are welcome to participate independently. **No previous hackathon experience is required.** **Hackathon Schedule** **Date:** Sunday, 27 September 2026 **Mode:** Online **Hackathon Starts:** **10:00 AM IST** **Submission Deadline:** **6:00 PM IST** **Result Announcement:** **Around 10:00 PM IST** Participants will have **8 hours** to build and submit their project. The result announcement time is an **approximate target**. Depending on the **number of submissions received** and the time required for judging and verification, results may take longer than expected. In such a case, the announcement may be delayed. **What Can You Build?** You can build a **technology-based solution** using the tools and technologies of your choice. Possible areas include: - **Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning** - **Generative AI** - **AI Agents** - **Web Development** - **Mobile App Development** - **Data Science** - **Cloud Computing** - **Cybersecurity** - **Blockchain & Web3** - **Automation** - **IoT** - **UI/UX** - **Developer Tools** - **Education** - **Healthcare** - **FinTech** - **Social Impact** - **And more** Your project must include a **meaningful Gemini API integration**. **Rules** - **This is a solo participation hackathon.** - **Each participant can submit one project.** - **Gemini API usage is mandatory.** - **Projects without actual Gemini API integration will be disqualified.** - Simply mentioning Gemini or using Gemini for coding assistance **does not satisfy the requirement**. - The **core project development must take place during the official hackathon period**. - Participants may use publicly available **libraries, frameworks, APIs, SDKs, datasets, and open-source resources**. - Participants may use **AI-assisted development tools**. - Participants should **disclose significant AI assistance** used during development. - Participants must submit their project before **6:00 PM IST**. - Participants must provide the **required project details and submission materials**. - **Previously completed projects cannot be submitted** as new hackathon projects. - **Plagiarism, cheating, fraudulent submissions, or misrepresentation of work** may result in disqualification. - Participants must not expose **API keys, passwords, tokens, or other private credentials** in public repositories. - The organizers reserve the right to **disqualify submissions that violate the rules or compromise the fairness of the competition**. **Judging Criteria** Projects will be evaluated based on: - **Gemini API Integration** - **Technical Implementation** - **Functionality & Completion** - **Design & User Experience** - **Innovation & Creativity** - **Overall Execution** The **quality and usefulness of the Gemini integration** will be an important part of the evaluation. **Winners & Prizes** There will be **3 winners**. 🏆 **1st Place:** Winner Certificate + **Official MLH Swag** 🏆 **2nd & 3rd Place:** Winner Certificate + **MLH Swag, subject to availability** 🎓 **Eligible participants:** **Certificate of Participation** **Result Announcement** The results are planned to be announced at approximately **10:00 PM IST on 27 September 2026**. This is an **estimated time**. If a large number of submissions are received, the judging and verification process may require additional time, and the announcement may be delayed. **Important** **Campulsy Hack Days is organized by Campulsy in collaboration with Major League Hacking (MLH) and Google Gemini.** Come with an idea, your laptop, and a willingness to build. **You have 8 hours.
