Side Track - $500

Who has the best ideas for how to improve the college experience for college students? YOU DO! BU Spark! is also trying to improve the lives of college students. Projects can address any aspect of college life from improving studying to meeting friends to measuring recycling in your dorm to destressing college students during exam periods. The best project will be evaluated based on the utility of the solution to solving a real problem on campus that will positively impact the lives of students, the technical quality of the project (no bugs, no UI dead ends, no dummy data, externally deployed not on your local server, how complete the project is i.e. ready to use by students).

Health and human services professions such as dietetics, nutrition, occupational therapy physical therapy, speech language pathology and social work focus on the impact of daily habits and lifestyle. The aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact our health and well-being. How can we revamp existing healthcare technology, tools, systems and processes to devise better approaches to inspire healthy lifestyles and resiliency for people of all ages and to mitigate the impact of compassion fatigue, stress and burnout?
