In this hackathon, participants will build a creative AI project using Google DeepMind’s open Gemma models. Your goal is to create a working prototype that solves a real problem or improves an experience using Gemma. Projects can be web apps, mobile apps, Kaggle Notebooks, tools, assistants, multimodal apps, agents, or on-device AI demos. What You Can Build Participants may build projects in areas such as: AI tools for students and learning Local language or accessibility tools Healthcare, civic engagement, or social impact apps Small business or productivity tools Multimodal apps using images, text, audio, or voice On-device or privacy-first AI apps AI agents that use tools or APIs Gemma must be core to your project. Projects that do not use Gemma will not be eligible for judging.
